September 20, 2021 at 4:52 PM. Big BUG: battery level show incorrect. Battery level maybe incorrect after charging in shutdown mode. User must refresh it with changing MODE. I shutdown the gopro hero 10, then charge it. After charging for a long time, unplug the cable, and turn on the gopro, it is in VIDEO mode, The battery level is only 14%!
An upgrade in the HERO7 is that the stabilization is offered all the way up to 4K 60 fps, so that is what we used for our tests. The best result was when the HERO7 was mounted in the GoPro Karma Grip gimbal. The impressive part, however, was that just using HyperSmooth stabilization was, in fact, almost as good.
Battery Life. Battery is always a downfall for GoPro cameras; like sensors, smaller batteries just can't cut it like bigger packs can. But the fact that the Hero is mostly featureless gives it a huge boost in battery life. We recorded 1080p at 30 fps for 3 hours straight on a single charge. That's much longer than your typical GoPro these days.
Assuming you are talking about the GoPro Hero 7 Black, that model has a removable 1220mAh lithium-ion battery. When shooting in 1080p at 60fps with Wi-Fi turned off, you can expect to get around 2 hours and 20 minutes of recording time.
Here’s what you can expect when it comes to the battery life of the GoPro Hero 10 Black: 5.3K/60FPS: 60 minutes; 4K/60FPS: 90 minutes; Please note that this is the estimated run time you’ll get with Hero 10 when there’s zero airflow. The actual battery life that you’ll get may vary depending on several other factors mentioned below.
I know the advertised battery life shooting 1080p/60fps is 103 minutes, so that's around 1 percent per minute of shooting, but it seems strange for it to drain so quickly while not shooting. Thanks for any info or advice. Translate with GoogleShow OriginalShow Original. Choose a language.

You still get the ability to capture video at up to 5.3K (60 fps) or 4K video (120 fps), as well as still images at 23 megapixels (less than on Hero 11 Black)—thanks to GoPro’s GP2 processor.
